Privacy

In short: this site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, doesn't measure visits and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts, images and scripts all come from this domain. The only data are the server logs no website can be delivered without.

The German version is the binding one.

Who is responsible

Constantin Metz, address in the imprint, email .

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. With every request, the host automatically processes what your browser sends: your IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the page you came from (referrer), your browser and operating system (user agent), the amount of data sent and the status code.

This serves only to deliver the site, keep it running and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is running the site securely. I don't analyse these logs or combine them with any other data. The host deletes them after a short time. Confirm the retention period and the data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) when deploying.

The host is based in the USA. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which the host is certified. More in its privacy policy.

Email

If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR), and delete them once the conversation is over and nothing requires me to keep them.

Links to other sites

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, the App Store and others lead to sites run by others. They receive data from you only once you follow a link, and then their privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An email is enough. You can also complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), such as the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
